About our organic and local suppliers

Pastry by Roos
Pastry shop Roos, the oldest store in the village, has been making the most delicious pastries and chocolates for over 100 years.

Wilder Land Tea
Wilder Land makes tea from plants grown on the edges of farmers' fields. Half of the plants stay for the bees and butterflies, the other half lets you enjoy a cup of 100% Dutch herbal tea.

Scorlewald and Solidaridad Fair Trade coffee
Our coffee and cookies come from care facility Scorlewald. The coffee, which is packed in biodegradable bags by people with a mental disability, comes from the Solidaridad Foundation, which donates €0.75 per kilo sold for the training of coffee farmers.

Croquettes and bitterballs from Grootmeester
Grootmeester's croquettes and bitterballs are artisanally made from sustainably produced meat and fresh ingredients.

Cheese from De Franschman cheese farm
The cows at Kaasboerderij de Franschman in Bergen are not milked by the milk machine, but by the farmer's hand. They also enjoy walking outside most of the year. All cheese is produced organically and sustainably.

Spring water from L'eau pour l'art
From L'eau pour l'art, the spring water that feeds art and culture, at least 6 cents per liter flows to the Culture Fund!

Special beer
And for drinks, we serve organic wine and offer a nice low-alcohol assortment of wine and beer. And now also: a local beer: Stoked Beer from Bergen.
